What are some common diagnoses associated with shoulder pain?
To avoid shoulder pain, try stretching and strengthening exercises to improve shoulder stability and flexibility, targeting rotator cuff and upper back muscles. Don’t overload your shoulder with repetitive motions or heavy lifting, and use proper technique and tools to minimize strain. Assess and, if needed, change your ergonomics at work (chairs and monitor setups are common offenders), too.
