Dr. Bairu Wang
Dr. Bairu Wang graduated from the University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China in 2010. She worked in a Chinese hospital for 6 years, treating from 40 to 60 patients a day. Dr. Bairu arrived in Calgary in 2016 and now enjoys both treating patients and instructing students at the Acupuncture College. Her mission is to help patients achieve optimal health and to share her knowledge with patients interested in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Dr. Bairu practices both traditional Chinese style acupuncture and Western anatomical theory in her treatment principles. She emphasizes finding the underlying causes of diseases rather than treating one painful region at a time.
When needed, Dr. Bairu will prescribe Chinese herbal formulas tailored to your particular needs. Many patients who are not interested in acupuncture will benefit from Chinese herbal medicine without getting acupuncture.
